About

Hi, I’m Ana, a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher based in Sydney.

I’m thrilled to share my passion for hatha and nidra yoga with you. I began practicing yoga as a teenager, and over the last 10+ years, I have found calm, strength, balance, acceptance, flexibility and care on the mat.

I believe yoga is a powerful tool that helps us:

  • live in the present

  • unwind and relax

  • develop a positive relationship with ourselves and others

  • reflect on our values as we engage with the world

As a trained dancer and snowboard instructor, and with a background in science and law, I value a technical approach so people can stay safe and get the most out of their yoga practice.

In my previous career as a lawyer and legal academic, I specialised in and advocated for communication, workplace wellness and positive workplace culture. With extensive experience in teaching, presenting, research and publications, I would be delighted to help your organisation with any of these topics as a facilitator, speaker, or consultant.

When I’m not on the yoga mat, I’m snowboarding, dancing Brazilian Zouk, enjoying the sun, laughing, and eternally waiting for the next Starwars TV series to come out.
